A Florida independent contractor agreement is a document that defines the arrangement between an independent contractor and their client for the provision of services. The terms and conditions relayed in the contract will include the services that the contractor is hired for, their compensation, the due date by which the services must be completed, and the termination date of the agreement. A worker is only defined as an independent contractor only if they are free to complete their work without their client’s oversight. Therefore, a contractor will be able to determine their own schedule and work methodology.

Once the agreement has been executed by the contractor and client, both parties will be bound to its terms until the contract’s completion or termination.
