Education and Certification
Many design consultants will have a bachelor’s degree in their chosen design field. No license or certification is required to operate as a design consultant in the United States; however, a commercial interior designer must register with the state if they operate in Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, Puerto Rico, or Washington, D.C.
