A New Hampshire 7-day notice to quit for non-payment of rent gives a tenant notice that they have an outstanding debt of unpaid rent and may face eviction if they do not pay the full amount. In addition to this document, the landlord must also serve a Demand for Rent form on the tenant. From the date that the notice is served, the tenant will have seven (7) days to pay the landlord what they owe or quit the premises. If the outstanding amount is paid, the tenant will be able to continue their tenancy. Otherwise, the landlord can begin legal action against the tenant if they do not move out in time.
