A Massachusetts general bill of sale is designed to help a buyer and a seller record a private transaction. This document can be used for the sale of any type of personal property, and allows the seller to detail each item that was sold. The total price for all items will be entered just below the description. This generic bill of sale should contain the personal information of each party, i.e., names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. Once completed, the form serves as proof that ownership of the personal property was transferred from the seller to the buyer.
